CARTAGE CONTRACTOR AND FIREWOOD SUPPLIER

Hood Transport is your local Cartage Contractor (of logs, aggregates and machinery), situated in Otaihanga, Paraparaumu on the Kapiti Coast.

We transport almost any cargo type, but specialise in both log and aggregate cartage.

Our qualified and experienced drivers are committed to ensuring your goods are delivered safely and on time, treating your cargo or job with the respect it deserves.

Our logging truck and trailer units operate throughout the middle to lower North Island from various forestry sites.

Our truck and trailer tipper units allow us to deliver a wide variety of aggregates for forestry roads, industrial and domestic sites.

Our tractor unit and semi trailer can transport your machinery, vehicles, equipment and other items.

Firewood for Sale on the Kapiti Coast

Sorry, but all of our dry pine has now sold out. We only have a very small amount of dry Gum firewood available for $220/m3. So please order your gum now before it's all gone. We do have available for next season - Pine for $140/m3 and Gum for $220/m3. So stock up now and get it stored away before next season's rush. (We currently do not have any Mac available so will let you know when we do.) Our wood is sold as a 1m3 thrown/tossed measure. Due to demand, all wood is subject to availability. We can sell you whatever quantity you are after, plus a delivery charge for the area you live in (sorry, delivery only - no pick ups). So from 1m3 to 6m3 of firewood (our truck can hold up to 6m3), this will still incur the same delivery charge for the area it's delivered to. We are also a WINZ approved firewood supplier here on the Kapiti Coast. Please go to WINZ Firewood Quote for more information. Delivery charges are: To Paraparaumu, Waikanae - from $40. To Paekakariki, Peka Peka, Te Horo - from $50. To Otaki, Pukerua Bay - from $60. Anywhere else - please enquire. Please fill out your details to have a firewood quote emailed to you for WINZ approval. If you do not have email, please let us know so we can then post to you instead.

Please take the quote to WINZ for approval. Once WINZ has approved the quote, we will be in contact with you when the funds have reached our account (as all WINZ payments must be made in full to us before delivery). We will then be in contact with you to organise a delivery date.
